May Recap

What a May & MDW here in Indiana. What can I say? We just do it best!

We hope you all had a great kickoff to the summer- full of red flags & sunshine. Break out those white jeans, pop a bottle of rosé, & lather on that sunscreen because we made it!

Whatever your home goals are, we thank you for your support. Our business is based almost exclusively on referrals & we especially cannot thank those of you enough for passing our info along to your loved ones.

Have a great last night of May & see you in June!

📍 community updates 📍

📍[1] 86th/82nd Corridor - Bed Bath & Beyond has finally shut it doors- frankly I thought it had been closed since 2007. Restoration Hardware is planning to temporarily take over the space before its move to the DeHaan estate, Linden House. After the move, an RH outlet is planned to take the place at River Crossing.

📍[2] 62nd & Allisonville - Taylor's Bakery has announced that “Nothing's changing.” Reporting this because anything about this Indy institution is news-worthy. Legends.

📍[3] Village of WestClay - Dads rejoice! A 20,000-square-foot Ace Hardware store is planned to be built in the Village of WestClay. If all goes to plan, my dad will be roaming the aisles for hours in second quarter of 2024.

📍[4]  100th & Michigan Rd - Discount outdoor retailer Sierra is now open in Carmel. Owned by the same parent company as T.J. Maxx, Marshalls, & HomeGoods, I'm getting the vibe this is like Marshall's version of REI. Happy camping!

Concerts

🎶 Grab a drink at The Rooftop Garden and head to the outdoor HI-FI Annex for one of these concerts. (Don't miss June 10th fan fav: Rod Tuffcurls & The Bench Press)

🎶 Pack a picnic & some bug spray and settle in at Symphony on the Prairie. Notable dates include The Music of Harry Potter June 23-June 24.

🎶 Treat yo' self in the bar at St. Elmo's or Harry & Izzy's and travel west to TCU Ampitheater at White River State Park. Notable attendees - based purely off my personal preference - include RUFUS DU SOL (8.8), GOO GOO DOLLS (8.23), Noah Kahan (9.15), Caamp (9.20).

🎶 Nashville is one of the music capitals of the world. Nashville, Indiana of course. Make a day of it & drive on down for a Brown County hike & summer concert at Hard Truth On the Rocks
