April recap

Boy, does April just fly on by! As we get ready for the best month in Indianapolis, let's take some time to reflect on 4.2024.

The market is hot hot hot. Call it 2021 because houses are moving fast fast fast. Low inventory- especially in midtown & the near suburbs, is making multiple offer situations common.

We hope you are having a great month and enjoying this warmer weather. Whether you are a young parent in the throes of youth sports or retired and filling your days with much deserved leisure time, we hope May brings you a month of good health & joy!

📍community updates📍

📍[1] Downtown - Cunningham is opening a 7,800 square foot restaurant planned for North Mass. Shin Dig is projected to open by fall with a 6,000-square-foot outdoor patio to complement indoor space and it is aiming to be a laid-back, family restaurant offering pizza, sandwiches, and salads.

📍[2] Zionsville - Zionsville mayor (& former news achor) John Stehr, is back on the campaign trail- this time campaigning for his plan for a 160-acre, $250 million development south of town's historic downtown. This development could include around 250 residential units, 500,000 square feet of office space, retail, dining and public plazas, parks and nature trails & parking garages. Four proposals over the past decade for the space have not come to fruition. Can WTHR Channel 13's former star get it done?!

📍[3] Indianapolis - At least five indoor pickle clubs plan to open in the Indy area.  Up first is a franchise of Picklr. Slated to open this August in the former OfficeMax space at Clearwater/Keystone, the club will have 10 indoor courts, a pro shop & private event space. Pickle on Penn, “Indiana's First Dedicated Pickleball Country Club” is slated to open soon as well! So much pickle, so little time!

🔠 ABC's of indy - ‘Q' 🔠

“Q” is for.. Quill's Coffee!

Quill's Coffee located at N Meridian Street & St Joseph Street downtown is a hidden gem! Maybe it is just lesser known to me, but good coffee and a convenient location for downtown workers! Quill's a Louisville coffee company and this is its only Indy location.

To…

Do: Check out your local farmer's markets back for the season!

Watch: Sugar on Apple TV, Baby Reindeer on Netflix (weird, but good)
